The Donna D. Carter AIA Austin Women in Architecture (WiA) and Design Austin Scholarship supports increased diversity in the architecture profession within the greater Austin community. In doing so, this scholarship is intended to highlight the achievements and ambitions of a minority female, or minority non-binary, student at The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture (UTSOA) pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree. Tuition and Funding
Scholarship / financial tuition assistance will be in the amount of $2,500 for the 2025-2026 academic year, paid for by WiA and distributed by Design Austin.

Timeline
November 11th, 2024:      Application is released
February 3rd, 2025:        Applications due at midnight
w/o February 21, 2025:   Scholarships announced
Early March 2025:           Promotional Videos Filmed
March/April 2025:           Recipient Recognition Reception
August 2025:                    Funds distributed
