Las Piñatas

The resilience and creativity of Austin’s Latino community and East Side residents is the spark behind the annual Las Piñatas exhibition. Since its 2015 inception, Las Piñatas has become a feature of the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center’s (MACC) Dia de los Muertos Festival each November.

This initiative is driven by AIA Austin’s Latinos in Architecture (LiA) Committee.
